Insert Stream is a companion app for Insert on macOS. It receives audio streamed from your Mac to your iPhone over your local network.

Data Collection

Insert Stream does not collect, store, sell, or share personal data. The app does not require an account, does not include advertising, and does not use third-party analytics.

Local Network and Audio

The app uses local network access to discover and connect to Insert running on your Mac. Audio is streamed locally between your Mac and iPhone for playback. This local audio stream is not sent to our servers and is not retained by the app.

Permissions

Insert Stream may request local network permission so it can discover Insert on your Mac. It uses audio playback to output the stream on your iPhone.

Third Parties

Insert Stream does not integrate third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.

Changes

If the app's privacy practices change, this policy will be updated and the App Store privacy information will be revised.
